Professional Biography
Jasmin is currently a postdoctoral associate at Cornell University, with research interests in agricultural carbon markets, climate change impacts and mitigation policies, dietary shifts, and food security. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master's in Agricultural Economics, both from Humboldt University of Berlin. Jasmin earned her PhD in Economics from the University of Goettingen, where her dissertation focused on "Climate Change Adaptation and Market Power in the Dairy Sector." Throughout her academic career, she completed a traineeship at the European Food Safety Authority and worked as a student assistant at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, gaining first-hand experience in climate and food systems research.
